Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the questions we are asked most often. If yours is not here, browse the rest of the knowledge base at unilaunch.lol/knowledge-base, or open a support ticket at unilaunch.lol/open-ticket and our team will help.

General

What is Unilaunch?
Unilaunch is a no-code platform that lets you create, launch, and manage tokens directly from your own wallet, across a range of supported blockchain networks. Everything — from creating a token to setting up and managing liquidity — is done directly on unilaunch.lol, without you needing to write or deploy any code yourself.
Which blockchains does Unilaunch support?
You can launch a token on nine networks today: Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Blast, and Robinhood Chain. Monad and Tempo are part of the platform but still being integrated — they appear in the network picker marked "Soon" and can't be selected yet. We continue to add support for additional networks over time as the platform grows.
Do I need to know how to code to use Unilaunch?
No. Every tool on Unilaunch is designed to be used without writing any code. You simply connect your wallet, fill in the required details in the interface, and confirm the transaction from your own wallet.
Is Unilaunch a wallet, an exchange, or a custodian?
No. Unilaunch is a software provider only. We never hold, custody, or have access to your funds, tokens, or private keys. Every transaction is initiated, signed, and broadcast directly from your own self-custodial wallet — Unilaunch cannot access, freeze, reverse, or recover it on your behalf.

Token Creation

How do I create a token?
You can create a token directly at unilaunch.lol/create-token, in three steps. Step 1 collects your token’s details — network, name, symbol, decimals, supply, description, and image. Step 2 is where you switch on any optional extras, from social links to a liquidity pool, and choose your token’s capabilities. Step 3 opens once you press Launch Token: it shows the exact fee and the address to send it to, and a Check Transaction button that confirms the payment once you have sent it from your own wallet.
Which token standards does Unilaunch support?
Depending on the blockchain you choose, Unilaunch supports standards such as SPL and Token-2022 on Solana, and ERC-20 or BEP-20 (and equivalent standards) on EVM-compatible chains such as Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Blast.
Can I edit my token after it has been created?
It depends on the chain and on what you chose at creation. On Solana, metadata can still be updated if you kept the update authority, and more tokens can be minted if you kept the mint authority. On the EVM chains, the capabilities written into the contract — Burnable, Mintable, Pausable — are fixed at creation, and whatever you left switched off cannot be added later. The transaction fee is the exception: where a token is created with one, both the fee and the wallet that receives it can still be changed afterwards. Everything else is fixed once the token is deployed, since blockchain transactions cannot be altered or reversed after they are confirmed. We recommend reviewing all details carefully before you pay.
What does revoking mint or freeze authority mean?
This applies on Solana, where a token is created with three authorities and you can give any of them up while configuring it. Revoking mint authority means no additional tokens can ever be created beyond the initial supply; revoking freeze authority means no one — including you — will be able to freeze token accounts; revoking update authority means the metadata can never be changed again. All three are irreversible once confirmed on-chain, and are commonly used to increase trust and transparency around a token. The EVM chains work the other way around: rather than revoking authorities, you pick which capabilities the contract exposes at creation.

Liquidity Pools

How do I create a liquidity pool for my token?
The pool is set up while you create the token, rather than afterwards: switch on the Liquidity Pool option in step 2 at unilaunch.lol/create-token, then enter how many tokens to put in the pool, how much of the chain’s native coin to pair them with, and the swap fee. The pool is always paired against the native coin of the chain you launched on. Once the token is live, unilaunch.lol/liquidity-pool is where you manage it.
Can I add more liquidity later, or remove it?
Yes. Every token you launch appears in My Portfolio at unilaunch.lol/liquidity-pool — including one created without a pool, which simply starts at zero. Add Liquidity tops a position up and Remove Liquidity withdraws from it, subject to the rules of the underlying liquidity protocol and the amount of liquidity currently available in the pool.
Does Unilaunch control or hold my liquidity?
No. Liquidity you provide is held in a smart contract belonging to the underlying liquidity protocol, not by Unilaunch. Unilaunch’s tool only helps you construct and submit the transaction; you remain in control of your funds and your liquidity position at all times.
What is slippage, and why does it matter?
Slippage is the difference between the expected price of a transaction and the price at which it actually executes, which can happen due to market movement or low liquidity at the time of the transaction. Unilaunch’s own tools don’t ask you to set a slippage tolerance — the amounts you enter when creating a token or funding a pool are fixed. It matters once your token is trading, where wallets and exchange interfaces let whoever is trading set a maximum tolerance.

Fees and Payments

What fees does Unilaunch charge?
Unilaunch charges a Tool Fee, quoted in the native currency of the chain you selected. Token creation has a base fee, and each optional extra you switch on in step 2 — social links, creator information, multi-wallet distribution, the token capability cards, and, on the EVM chains, deflation and reflection — adds a small amount on top. The Liquidity Pool and Transaction Fee options are free. The running total sits under the Launch Token button before you pay, and is separate from network gas fees and any fees charged by third-party protocols.
Why is my total cost higher than the Tool Fee shown?
In addition to the Unilaunch Tool Fee, every transaction also requires a network gas or priority fee paid to the underlying blockchain’s validators, and may involve additional fees from third-party protocols (such as a liquidity pool or launch platform). These are separate from, and independent of, the Unilaunch Tool Fee.
Can I get a refund if something goes wrong?
Because blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed, Tool Fees are generally non-refundable. In the limited case of a verified defect in Unilaunch’s own software or smart contracts — as opposed to user error, market conditions, or third-party issues — we may, at our discretion, review the case for a possible reimbursement. You can report an issue through unilaunch.lol/open-ticket.

Wallets and Security

Which wallets can I use with Unilaunch?
Unilaunch connects to Phantom and Solflare for Solana, and to MetaMask and Trust Wallet for the EVM chains. Which one you use depends on the blockchain you are launching on.
Will Unilaunch ever ask for my seed phrase or private key?
No. Unilaunch never asks for your wallet’s seed phrase or private key, and no tool on the site has a field for either. The Multi-Wallet Supply Distribution option asks only for public wallet addresses and the share each one receives. If a page ever asks you for a seed phrase or a private key while claiming to be Unilaunch, it is not us — close it.
What happens if I send a transaction to the wrong address or with the wrong amount?
Once a transaction is signed and broadcast to the blockchain, it cannot be canceled, reversed, or refunded by Unilaunch or anyone else. Always double-check all transaction details — including addresses, amounts, and settings — directly in your wallet before confirming.
How can I keep my account and funds safe?
Only connect wallets you fully control, never share your seed phrase or private keys with anyone, verify every transaction in your wallet before signing, and be cautious of anyone contacting you claiming to represent Unilaunch outside of our official channels.
